(2S)-OMPT (Synonyms:(2S)-OMPT triethylamine;(2S)-OMPT (三乙胺))
目录号 : KCM10680 CAS No. : 1217471-69-6 纯度 : ≥98%
Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) is a potent lipid mediator that elicits its effect through four distinct receptors - LPA/EDG-2, LPA/EDG-4, LPA/EDG-7 and LPA/GPR23. OMPT is a selective agonist of the lysophosphatidic acid 3 (LPA) receptor. It exhibits EC values of 68 nM and >6.8 µM for calcium mobilization in LPA and LPA-expressing Sf9 cells, respectively. The (2S)-OMPT enantiomer is 5- to 20-fold more active than (2R)-OMPT in calcium release assays in both LPA-transfected Sf9 and rat hepatoma Rh7777 cells.

生物活性

(2S)-OMPT (triethylamine), Lysophosphatidic acid analogue, is a LPA3 G-protein-coupled receptor agonist. (2S)-OMPT (triethylamine) selectively activates LPA3 G-protein-coupled receptor to trigger downstream cellular signaling events. (2S)-OMPT (triethylamine) induces calcium, IL-6 release in cancer cells and activates MAPK and Akt signaling pathways. (2S)-OMPT (triethylamine) can be used for the research of ovarian cancer.

体外研究

(2S) - OMPT (0.001-10000 nM) (triethylamine) can induce the release of calcium ions from human ovarian cancer cell line OVCAR3, with an EC50 of 9.0 nM.

(2S) - OMPT (0.01-1 μM) (triethylamine) can activate the phosphorylation of Akt and MAPK in human ovarian cancer OVCAR3 cells.

(2S) - OMPT (0.01-10 μM) (triethylamine) can induce the release of IL-6 in human ovarian cancer cell line OVCAR3.
