Methiocarb (2.5-7.5 mg/L; 72 hours) has dose-dependent toxic effects on Allium cepa L. bulbs, including reducing rooting rate, root length, and weight gain rate, increasing micronucleus rate, chromosome damage degree, and MDA level, reducing mitotic index, and increasing SOD and CAT activity, with the strongest effect observed at a concentration of 7.5 mg/L.
