CAY10647 is an aryl-benzoyl-imidazole which prevents proliferation of multidrug resistant cancer cells in vitro (IC = 28-63 nM) and inhibits melanoma xenograph tumor growth in vivo (10-30 mg/kg). This compound also binds to tubulin (K = 3.4 μM) and prevents tubulin polymerization.

CAY10647 is a 2-aryl-4-benzoyl-imidazole (ABI) derivative and an inhibitor of melanoma xenogeneic tumors. CAY10647 exerts anticancer activity by interacting with the colchicine binding site to inhibit tubulin polymerization.

体外研究

CAY10647 has anti proliferative activity and can inhibit the growth of melanoma and prostate cancer cell lines.

体内研究

CAY10647 (10, 30 mg/kg; ip; once a day for 14 days) can significantly inhibit tumor growth in B16-F1 tumor bearing mice.
