RhoNox-1 is a fluorescent dye. RhoNox-1 shows a high selection of Fe(II) ions that can be used as fluorescent probes for specific label labile ferrous iron [Fe(II)]. RhoNox-1 can be used to identify the level of the intracellular labile iron pool.
