(±)-β-Tocopherol is a lipid-soluble form of vitamin E with antioxidant activity. It scavenges 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH; ) radicals with an EC value of 68.2 μM. (±)-β-Tocopherol (100 μM) inhibits LPS-induced COX-2 gene expression in mouse RAW 264.7 macrophage cells. Unlike (±)-α-tocopherol , (±)-β-tocopherol does not inhibit smooth muscle cell proliferation, decrease PKC activity, increase phosphoprotein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) activity, or modify expression of the α-tropomyosin gene.

β-Tocopherol is a lipid-soluble form of vitamin E with antioxidant activity.

体外研究

β - Tococopherol (50 μ M, 48 hours) mildly inhibited the proliferation of A7r5 cells (inhibition rate of 10%) and CHO cells (inhibition rate of 20%), but had no inhibitory effect on HeLa cells [2]. β - Tococopherol (50 μ M, 24 hours) inhibited PMA (HY-18739) - induced cell adhesion in human erythroleukemia (HEL) cells (inhibition rate 11%), and suppressed the expression of integrins α 4 and α 5 on the cell surface [3].

Cell Line:	A7r5, CHO, HeLa cells

Incubation Time:	48 hours
Result:	Slightly inhibited A7r5 and CHO cell proliferation. Did not inhibit HeLa cell proliferation.

请依序添加每种溶剂：10% DMSO → 40% PEG300 → 5% Tween-80 → 45% saline

Solubility: ≥ 1.25 mg/mL (3.00 mM); Clear solution

此方案可获得 ≥ 1.25 mg/mL (3.00 mM，饱和度未知) 的澄清溶液。

以 1 mL 工作液为例，取 100 μL 12.5 mg/mL 的澄清 EtOH 储备液加到 400 μL PEG300 中，混合均匀；向上述体系中加入 50 μL Tween-80，混合均匀；然后继续加入 450 μL ⽣理盐⽔定容⾄ 1 mL。
