Spirotetramat (0.48-120.0 mg AI liter-1; 10 days) showed potent activity against Cacopsylla pyri nymphs of FE1, FE2, FE3, and FE4 populations, with LC90 values ranging from 67.3 to 125.22 mg AI liter-1 and no obvious signs of resistance development (all RF90 values<5) .
The toxicity of Spirotetramat (3.75-1920 mg/L; 1-5 days) to 4-day-old cotton aphids increased with prolonged exposure time, and its LC50 reached 12.3 mg/L after 5 days of exposure.
Spirotetramat (8 days) can decrease the reproductive capacity of 4-day-old cotton aphids in a concentration dependent manner. On the 8th day of exposure, LC75 concentration can reduce the offspring yield to 6.7% of the control group level .
Spirotetramat (53.9 mg/L; 5 days) significantly increased the carboxylesterase activity of cotton aphids within 5 days, reaching 3361 Δ OD min-1 mg-1 on the 5th day .
Spirotetramat (53.9 mg/L; 1-5 days) upregulated the mRNA expression of CarE-YS1 in cotton aphids in a time-dependent manner, with a 5.2-fold increase compared to the control group on the 5th day of exposure.
Spirotetramat (53.9 mg/L; 5 days) increased the tolerance of Aphis gossypii offspring exposed to the drug by 2.5 times, with an LC50 of 28.4 mg/L, compared to 11.6 mg/L in the control group offspring.
